As I was reading the story, I felt that the protagonists were quite dumb. Firstly, at the first bakery attack, listening to Wagner's music and getting bread to seem like poor dumb beggers who want to eat bread. Even they were so desperate about the bread as they listen to the Wager's music that they just thought the bakery owner forgave them and never thought it was about the propaganda. Secondly, during the second bakery attack, robbing Mc Donald's store looks quite silly, and robbing hamburgers but buying cokes seems silly either. However, after reading this story, I didn't feel any negative emotions toward the protagonists but I felt emotional toward them.  Rating: 7.5/10

Did the girl and the boy actually lose their memory and could not recognize them?  I think this is not true but the description of the situation was quite convincing to me. I think the memory part is simply exaggerated by the man. As a man I, of course, had an experience feeling that girl will 100% fit me. There is a funny quote that if men see a girl that they like, men imagine the house and love they make just in 10 seconds. This quote is very exaggerated but I think the halfway is true. When I met a girl that I truly love, I sometimes imagine the marriage of the girl. Like this, I think Murakami exaggerated a little bit but still, the description of the story is very magical and beautiful.  Rating: 9.5/10

Should the boy tell his emotion to the Mangan's sister? I actually had an experience loving a girl older than me. And I realized something very important. Even though she refuses it is important to say my emotion. The advantage of Loving an older girl is that we can learn a lot of things about relationships. Even it is not the relationship between she and me, I could learn many thing such as speaking in a frank way. For the same reason, I thought that acting like an introverted child is not a good attitude for the boy himself. He should steal the vase and give it to her saying that he loves her. The price of the vase can be retained. But the regretful emotion is permanent. Rating; 7/10

Would Eveline's choice have been wise? Of course, James Joyce does not focus on this book is not love, I wanted to talk about the unfortunate reality of Eveline. I think it's wrong that Evelyn chose her family. Eveline always looked after her brother and father after her mother died. While taking care of him every day, he and his father would automatically depend on Eveline. But the gentle Eveline had lived in service to others so little he had done for himself. In the meantime, I finally met Frank, a man like my destiny. She must have been happy and free when she met Frank. I think Eveline should have followed Frank for two reasons to eliminate family dependence for her own happiness. Rating: 7/10
