One seeing the 100% perfect girl one beautiful april morning- Haruki Murakami

Did the girl and the boy actually lose their memory and could not recognize them? 

I think this is not true but the description of the situation was quite convincing to me. I think the memory part is simply exaggerated by the man. As a man I, of course, had an experience feeling that girl will 100% fit me. There is a funny quote that if men see a girl that they like, men imagine the house and love they make just in 10 seconds. This quote is very exaggerated but I think the halfway is true. When I met a girl that I truly love, I sometimes imagine the marriage of the girl. Like this, I think Murakami exaggerated a little bit but still, the description of the story is very magical and beautiful.

After finishing reading this story, I could not understand why Vasilisa started to sober after listening to the Gospel about Peter. After reading twice about the Gospel, I thought there might be similarities between Peter and Vasilisa.  Vasilisa's daughter, Lukerya, was beaten by her husband. However, through Vasilisa's tear, we can infer that Vasilisa was regretting her attitude, being a bystander. I thought the author of this book Anton Chekhov deliberately set Vasilisa's job as a nurse to show emphasize Vasilisa's attitude similar to Peter. Peter was a student of Jesus and he denied it because he was afraid. Like what Peter did, Vasilisa might be afraid of Lukerya's husband and she just did nothing even though she could help Lukerya as a nurse. As a result, she felt similar between herself and Peter, and she regrets her behavior and cries just like Peter did. So ultimately what did Chekhov want to say through this story? He wanted to say the power of the story an...

The second bakery attack - Haruki Murakami

As I was reading the story, I felt that the protagonists were quite dumb. Firstly, at the first bakery attack, listening to Wagner's music and getting bread to seem like poor dumb beggers who want to eat bread. Even they were so desperate about the bread as they listen to the Wager's music that they just thought the bakery owner forgave them and never thought it was about the propaganda. Secondly, during the second bakery attack, robbing Mc Donald's store looks quite silly, and robbing hamburgers but buying cokes seems silly either. However, after reading this story, I didn't feel any negative emotions toward the protagonists but I felt emotional toward them.  Rating: 7.5/10

The Lady With The Dog- Anton Checkov

     After finishing this story, I was quite uncomfortable, and I thought why. The main theme was an affair of two married adults, but I was only comfortable with the romance stories of nonmarried people. Almost every romance that I watched was about two young people. Through this story, I thought Chekhov was describing affairs as beautiful romance rather than unethical behavior. Nevertheless, I think an affair can never be justified. Marriage is a sacred vow about loving one girl for entire lasting life. When you like someone even though you have your laver and kids, you should realize the situation as quickly as possible and become a good husband and a father. word: 112 rating: 5/10
